Really? It’s been more than 45 years since this photo was taken in Berkeley. No mass killings by police, national guard or anyone else.

Probably could’ve phrased it better. I think the increasing trend of police militarization is more of a post-9/11 thing. I’m also not saying that they’d go in with the intention of killing people.
If within 10 years, the police ended up killing 5 people at a protest, I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s not a huge leap in logic. But who knows? Hopefully things trend towards the better instead.
