I heard this on the radio the other day. This guy who had just written a book on competitive eating was on the show and one of the hosts asked him who was more dominant, Kobayashi or Tiger Woods? He said Kobayashi had lost only twice (this was before Chestnut). Kobayashi lost to a guy with giantism in a contest that spanned something like 45 minutes. So, it was more like a marathon than a sprint. At least, that’s what I heard on the radio. You could look it up on wikipedia, I’m sure.
